Desert Sun Patios installed a free-standing gable sunroom on our backyard patio this fall. Bob Whiteside, our salesperson, advised that this installation was a ‘first’ for their team. He was very accommodating during the whole process. While we had to wait a long time for supplies to come in due to a shortage in building materials and to COVID, it was well worth the wait. The addition to our yard feels like a little log cabin (all knotty pine inside) and we are sure to enjoy it for many years to come. Two gents, Kyle and Randy, worked diligently each day and the project was completed in eight days. They were friendly, very professional, and able to answer any questions we had. We would highly recommend Desert Sun for any building you want added to your home or yard. Excellent job and many thanks to the whole team!

In the spring of 2021 we had Desert Sun Patios supply and install a patio cover over our deck. Prior to installation we were provided with timely material delivery updates and immediately when materials were received installation was scheduled. The project was completed on time and on budget. DSP’s installer was most co-operative and did a professional job, leaving the site neat and tidy. We were unable to use our deck between noon and 4:00 pm on sunny summer days due to the heat and sun but now, with the patio cover in place we can, and did, enjoy our deck when ever we wanted. It was the best money we ever spent. In consideration of the above I have no hesitation in recommending Desert Sun Patios to anyone in need of their services.

Desert Sun installed a roof over our patio. Blake and Lindsay’s customer service was top notch. Lindsay contacted us weekly letting us know about the installation date because of material shortage due to COVID. Martys installation was exceptional and it was great to see someone still take pride in their work. We are very pleased with the installation and service.
After my husband and I visited the DSP showroom we were convinced that Bob and crew were the ones to update our deck with a pan roof and glass side panels for safety. Once Dustin came to take measurements work began almost instantly. The construction crew was very efficient including clean up once the “job” was completed.
We’ve since had the roof extended, but the rain proved there was a leak at the join. No problem, I called Lindsay and it was quickly taken care of. Now we enjoy our deck rain or shine with friends and family or as a quiet relaxing cozy space in the evening.

Our deck needed replacement as wood was rotten and decided to add sun room on half of the
deck area around the entrance door and the other half open with covered roof extension
from the sun room. Bob at Desert Sun was very helpful in design suggestions for both deck
replacement and sunroom and kept us within our budget. Very happy with the Deck replacement and Sun room addition and our favorite room during the summer with shade protection yet very bright with all the windows giving us lots of light for reading and growing plants. Installation went very well with some minor final adjustments which were well serviced. Desert sun was able to have deck rebuilt as well as the

I am a retired Industrial Education teacher, and was the contractor / builder for the home we live in . I first installed a patio cover myself outside our master bedroom on a small balcony. Bob Williamson, the superb Manager, assisted by efficient and friendly Lindsay, provided all the parts for my installation, which took place without a hitch. We have been very pleased for the last 8 years. A couple of months ago we did a much larger patio cover across the back of our house facing East. Again, the price was right and everything went together without an issue. The installer was Marty who was just fabulous. We can now relax and enjoy our fire bowl out of the elements, and a really nice feature is that I can BBQ all year round without having to shovel snow or brush the barbecue off . Wonderful place for a tete-a-tete, and a great place for a cold beer or nice glass of wine. If you need a patio cover to be installed, or to install as a do-it-yourselfer, you really should check out Desert Sun Patios for a quote. You will not be disappointed.
Our Desert Sun screen room was built in winter, and with the first spring weather we were out enjoying it. We built it on an existing deck, and now have an additional 300 square feet of living space we use regularly when the weather is suitable. Our next project will be to add electric heat, which will give us an extra hour plus in the evening. Thanks for a great product, perfectly installed to enhance our home!

DSP was very responsive to our questions and concerns. It took a little longer for them to finish but I believe it was because of the permit process. After everything was done and completed, they reached out to ensure customer satisfaction. Thank DSP we love our patio.
Just love our new deck cover. The crew were in for about a day and a half getting everything installed and tied in with our existing house structure. They left the work area nice and clean at the end of the process. Thank you

The deck off our master bedroom was rotting and needed to be replaced. I had a couple of sunroom companies come to take a look and give me a quote. It was obvious from the beginning that Desert Sun cared about customer service. Everyone – Blake, Bob, Mike, office staff – was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and caring. Construction was done last winter (January/February). Mike, the installer, kept working despite the cold weather. At all times during, as well as after installation the site was left clean. The company installing the flooring after completion of sunroom had questions I couldn’t answer. When I asked Blake his response was give me their number I’ll talk to them. The company installing blinds had questions – when I asked Bob he said – I’ll talk to them. Both of those companies later mentioned to me how helpful Blake & Bob were. It has been over six months since the Sunroom was completed, two days ago I got a call from Desert Sun asking if I had any concerns – we have recently had strong winds in Calgary and noticed that when the windows were opened they rattled a bit. I mentioned this and two days later Bob was over fixing the problem. Desert Sun is an excellent company, their customer service is beyond reproach – I highly recommend them.

Excellent service. Designed a patio cover to suite the area we wanted covered, delivered when promised, installed quickly and cleaned up brpebfore departing. Love it! This is the 3rd house where we have had a patio awning installed by Sun Patios.Would definitely recommend.
The patio cover installed has been absolutely excellent. Besides giving us the shade we wanted, it lowered the heat in the house during the hot summer days. We compared the quality of the materials used to some of the competitors and found Desert Sun Patios to be superior. The 2 installers that came to the cabin did a great job, answered questions and left everything spotless when they were done. We are now thinking of having half the deck made into a sunroom if possible.
